In the Media

I recently hosted award-winning Italian-Canadian writer Gianna Patriarca as an invited speaker for my course in Italian-Canadian studies at the University of Toronto (Mississauga). This event was featured on OMNI Television (Italian edition), and in a news article written by two of my students, Nicole Sciulli and Lauren Di Nola, for the Corriere Canadese newspaper.
My work in language preservation, migration, and culture reaches beyond the university campus. I have been featured on different news outlets (samples below) and I also write sporadically for the Corriere Canadese newspaper (articles here).

A few years back, the Toronto Star and Metro News published a story on minority languages and Endangered Language Alliance Toronto, featuring me as a speaker of Santonofrese, a variety of the southern Romance language of Calabria.
